Thank you so much for the information as I used every little bit of it to work through my transmission issues…It looks like instead of Jiffy Lube flushing out the old transmission fluid and replacing it with Honda Accord-specific oil, they didn’t flush out but added to the old fluid with non-Honda transmission oil and this caused a certain level of metal corrosion and also my car error diagnostics were flashing intermittently…When the old Jiffy Lube fluid was flushed out, by my mechanic, it smelled burnt out with metal shavings and really, really dark…Also, instead of getting 3 pints out, nearly 5 pints came out (old + Jiffy Lube oils)…Lesson learned, go to someone you actually trust with car maintenance going forward.
